CREATIVE CORNER

From NSCAD students designing an entire exhibit space to Dalhousie students renovating our donated office space; we're finding that creative solutions are getting us closer and closer to our goal.

We invite anyone who's interested in taking part in the Brigadoon Creative Corner to submit the ideas, photos, animations, videos, poems, collages, and stories. Or, in other words, anything and everything. We believe creativity is the heart of Brigadoon, and we invite you to share yours. Email us at: info@brigadoonvillage.org

Picture This

What happens when you bring together young NSCAD designers, one  talented photographer, and a non-profit organization committed to helping kids with chronic illness? An exhibit that challenges our assumptions. And thanks to the generosity of the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia, a great place to view. Picture This - April 25 - May 6, 2007. Collaborative Design Class -2005 - Nova Scotia College of Art and Design

Brigadoon's first partnership with the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design was in the Fall of
2005 with its Collaborative Design Senior Class.  A number of ogranizations presented to the
class and students picked which project they wished to work with for the semester.  Brigadoon
was interested in design ideas for: website; kit folders; recruitment posters and donor
recognition items.  The work was fantastic!

Special Thanks to:
Prof. May Chung

Students:
Summer Meyer - donor recognition
Ashley Delaney - website
Amy Wetton - donor recognition
Chantal MacDonald - recruitment posters
Ashley Thompson - kit folder + stationary

Peter Kohler Windows and Entrance Systems

My son Michael made me aware of Brigadoon. After a meeting with Thelma Costello it became very clear that this will be an outstanding facility and I want to support it in a major way.
