 | A Note From Dave
As we issue the Summer BrigaNews, we are 3 weeks away from our 1st camp at Brigadoon...which happens to be the first of its kind in Canada. Here are a few other interesting numbers as we count down to opening: 30 degree Celsius - temperature in the Brigadoon office from July 18 - July 27; 12 full-time/part-time staff at Brigadoon; it took exactly 144 months from idea to reality to build Brigadoon; there are 9 letters in the word Brigadoon; $0.09 cost per dollar raised; $7.7 million raised to date for Building Brigadoon; 79% realized asks; 28 Memorandums of Understanding are currently secured with Brigadoon; 1,779 donors to Brigadoon; 17 Board Members with 6 full-time sub-committees; 7 Fund Development Volunteers; One very large and complex dream...almost realized.
Peace and Good Health, Dave
