Brigadoon is growing and we are excited to announce that we are currently recruiting for an Executive Assistant and a Development Coordinator.

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
REF# B-10

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant will be responsible for office administration including scheduling meetings, preparing minutes, maintaining the filing system, data entry, bookkeeping, drafting letters, providing support to the Board of Directors and Capital Campaign Cabinet as well as other general office tasks.   In partnership with Brigadoon staff and appointed leadership of the Society, the position will help achieve the mission and objectives of Brigadoon.

The ideal candidate for this role is an administrative professional with a minimum of three years experience.  You thrive in a fast paced environment and possess exceptional skills in multitasking, management and project tracking.  A detail oriented, excellent communicator, you work well as part of a collaborative team as well as independently. Your ability to anticipate needs and take initiative will contribute to your success in this role.

DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
REF# B-20

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Coordinator will assist in the Capital Campaign.  The Development Coordinator will assist in establishing fundraising objectives and be accountable for a variety of elements of the “Building Brigadoon” Capital Campaign including prospect research and tracking, developing proposals, policy writing, donor recognition, and delivering Brigadoon presentations / representing Brigadoon at events as required. 

As the ideal candidate for this role, you have a working knowledge of fundraising practices, strong research skills, and 3-5 years experience in a fundraising role.  A detail oriented, highly organized multi-tasker, you work well as part of a collaborative team or independently. Your exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are necessary to obtain success in this role.  You are innovative, driven and tenacious.  You understand partnerships and are devoted to our future users of Brigadoon.

Rotary International

It is extremely exciting to realize that a camp for chronically ill children could become a reality in a few years. The members of the Rotary Club of New Minas Sunrise are very proud to be involved with Camp Brigadoon Society fundraising for this much needed project.
