Philanthropy Awards

April 23rd, 2010

Brigadoon was excited to attend the Association of Fundraising Professionals annual Philanthropy Awards dinner on April 22nd at Pier 21. This year, for the first time, Brigadoon had nominated two fundraising groups, and two individuals for awards. Congratulations to the Rotary Club of New Minas Sunrise who received thunderous applause as their nomination plaque was presented to them for recognition of the many causes they support worldwide and their leadership gift of $250,000 to the Building Brigadoon Capital Campaign. Joining them in the category of outstanding fundraising group was our Brigadoon Capital Campaign Cabinet. Our deserving individual nominees who we are proud and thankful to have volunteering with Brigadoon were Roger Sinclair, our Campaign Chair and Ruby Blois, Campaign Vice Chair, for Outstanding Individual Fundraiser awards.

Congratulations to all the nominees and winners of philanthropy awards- it was an honour to be in the company of so many generous community members!
