All monies raised supports Brigadoon Village and helps us provide an unforgettable camping experience to children and youth living with a chronic illness in the Maritimes.

Gifts of Stocks

Capital gains tax on donations of publicly traded securities/shares to charities was eliminated in 2006. You will also receive a tax receipt for the full market value of your donation.

Sponsorship

Organize a third party fundraiser

Many volunteers choose to organize their own small fundraiser in support of Brigadoon. A number of volunteers have had successful fundraisers including comedy nights, runs and walks, and dinners and dances. If you are interested in organizing a small fundraiser, please read the Third Party Fundraiser Agreement and submit your application for approval.

Camp Guts and Glory is open to children and youth throughout the Maritimes living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. It is the first camp in Canada serving this population.

The staff at The Trail Shop share a special bond with the outdoors. Our experiences in nature have shaped the way we look at the world around us. Brigadoon will be a place where sick kids can simply be kids, and we are dedicated to providing whatever help we can to make this dream a reality.
