BUILDING BRIGADOONWith the help of a volunteer Capital Campaign Cabinet and through the generosity of individuals, corporations, and community organizations, Brigadoon aims to realize the campaign goal by 2011, with the camp opening that same year.
At Brigadoon we believe it takes "a village" to "build a village" and we thank our sponsors for their generous support. If you would like to contribute to the Building Brigadoon Capital Campaign, please donate here or review our volunteer opportunities for other ways you can get involved. When I’m asked why I’m helping to build Brigadoon I simply say: “Because every kid deserves a chance to be ordinary.”
Our goal in building Brigadoon Village is to develop a camp facility for kids with chronic illness. More than just a camp getaway, Brigadoon Village will enable best practices in research, teaching, learning, and, most importantly, fun. We will be the first facility of our kind in Atlantic Canada. We want to provide the place that changes the lives of children, youth, and families living with chronic illness. Roger Sinclair, Chair Building Brigadoon Capital Campaign
